I’ve been on tumblr for over two years and I had no idea that such calculated promotional tools and formulae existed.
It certainly explains how so many crappy blogs get to be so popular and why so much stupid gargabe gets thousands of reblogs.
Some precious tumblrtwats won’t even consider following back anyone who doesn’t already have over a thousand followers.
Mind you, from the look of these avatars, their ages equal their IQs, so I suppose it’s the kind and charitable thing to do, to allow them their fifteen minutes of tumblr fame.
