Pissed off by pins

Tumblr’s latest monetising idea sucks.

So, I read the pinned posts and then decide to scroll the dashboard as per usual, but unless I immediately unpin those ones, any new posts appear below them ….and I like seeing new stuff being added at the top. The pinned posts make me think that nothing new is coming through.

And already pins are being used for more self-promotion and to sell stuff. That’s an automatic unfollow from me.
