I watched the new episode on Monday night and it did not disappoint. It was lovely to sink right back into the mannerisms and affectation of it all. And that was just Carson….

Oh, the highlights and lowlights! Tears from a manly man, unexpected alliances… and a Very Big And Serious Problem That Threatens To Overshadow THE WEDDING.

Shirley MacLaine steals some scenes with Lady Violet, but the Dowager Countess is more than a match for her. All in all, it was a comfortingly delightful diversion :)
